Greek Fest Foods

From the syrupy baklava to the crisp Greek salad,
the entire selection of delectable foods offered at Greek Fest
give you a sampling of our culture
and cuisine.
Most items are made from scratch using our own church recipes

and by many dedicated members of Saint George.

Your favorites are back this year including
savory souvlaki, lamb, pastichio, gyro, spanakopita, fresh Greek salad,
sweet loukoumades, baklava sundaes
and much more.

The Taverna has a wide variety of Greek wines and
the frosty frappes and Greek coffee are perfect while enjoying our Greek dancing shows.

Don't forget to shop our sweet Greek pastries for baklava, koulourakia, kourambiedes, tsoureki and more!

What else can I do or see at Greek Fest besides taste the amazing food?

Greek Fest was created to share our culture with you and there is much, much more to experience than just the cuisine.  This is your chance to be GREEK for a day!

The Greek culture begins with our Orthodox faith and the best place to learn a little more is through the Church Tours.  Become acquainted with our religion and view the magnificent Byzantine iconography, mosaics and stained glass windows.

Shop the Agora for authentic Greek wares such as clothing, ceramics, jewelry, books and icons.  A must see is the beautiful watercolor and oil paintings depicting colorful landscapes and seascapes of Greece by the artist, Pantelis Zographos.

Want to learn how to make a delicious Greek dish?  Check out the Cooking Demonstrations to see how it's done!  While you're there visit Papou's Pantry..our very own Greek grocery store for authentic Greek ingredients and also pick up a copy of "Greek Gourmet Treats", the cookbook compiled by the St. George Philoptochos Society with over 250 recipes.

The kids have to have fun, too!  The Kids Korner is a great stop for face painting, games, cookie decorating and more!

Before you leave pick up a box of assorted pastries and a 2012 Greek Fest Souvenir T-shirt.  The perfect reminder of the great time you had at Greek Fest!
